On June 8, 2024, MonacoCarAuctions will present a second edition of its L’ASTAROSSA™ sale, hosted, once again, in the well-heeled principality, with this year’s event set to showcase an all-Ferrari lineup. Headlining the stable of vehicles is a trio of V12-engined models and grand tourers from the 1960s, as well as a slew of Testarossas to mark the 40th anniversary of the range.
Ferrari 365GT 2+2
Of all the lots on offer, we’d say the real coup is the Ferrari 275 GTS, the last of the prancing horses’s models to feature Maranello’s celebrated Colombo V12, and the unit available is the 29th of its kind to be produced and features incredibly low mileage, with just 3,150km clocked up. A comprehensive restoration in 2008 by Carrozzeria Quality Cars and GPS Classic gave the vehicle a superlative glow-up, and the ‘blu chiaro’ exterior with matching ‘pelle blu’ interior offers a smooth, elegant look.
Ferrari 365GTC/4
Elsewhere, a phenomenal recreation of the 1959 Ferrari 250 GT California Inspiration – which belonged to perhaps the most seminal line of Ferraris during the period – helps pad out the range of Colombo-engined open-top grand tourers available, as does the 1968 365GT 2+2 that’s designed in ‘pelle beige’ and a contrasting ‘blu’ hide, with only 11,800km on its mileage. (Other Ferraris with extremely low numbers on the odometer include a 1972 Ferrari 365GTC/4, with 15,100km; and a 1993 Ferrari 348 TS that has just 3,800km.)
Ferrari Testarossa
Then, for those petrolheads who have a penchant for Ferrari’s marquee hits from the 1980s, the auction will – in mark of the supercar’s 40th anniversary – also show a complete set of Testarossas, including an early 1985 Testarossa Monospecchio, perhaps the most coveted Testarossa and finished in ‘rosso corsa’ over ‘nero’ hide; and there’s also one from 1987 that’s done out in ‘giallo fly’.
A low-mileage Enzo (7,700km), from 2002 – incident-free; original paint still there; original accessories, such as luggage, also included – is also a major coup for one lucky bidder.

For a holistic experience, there will also be Ferrari-themed memorabilia, including a scooter used by seven-time F1 world champion Michael Schumacher, as well as a helmet signed by the German driver; a signed kart used by Charles Leclerc in a Ray-Ban advert; and documents with Enzo Ferrari’s signature.
